St Patrick’s Day Irish Soda Bread The Prairie Nurse

St Patrick's Day Irish Soda Bread The Prairie Nurse

The Prairie Nurse Irish Sweet/Spicy Soda Bread

3 1/2 Cup Flour 

2/3 Cup Sugar 

1 1/3 Buttermilk or Half and Half 

2 Beaten Eggs 

1/2 tsp vanilla 

4 tablespoons melted butter 

1 tsp of baking powder

1 tsp of baking soda 

1 tsp of salt 

Ok you do you feel sweet or spicy today? 

Here are the other options: add your favorite berry or spicey jalapenos etc. 

Also, if you love cheese this is an option as well! 

Mix all the dry, Mix all the wet, mix together, add to dish that is greased. 

Bake at 350F for 50-60 minutes!
