10 Healthy Steps For A Happy You Year!
1. The first step I was thinking is to get into the rhythm of the new change. The best way to get the flow going is doing smaller steps. Such as get moving, change your day up. Simple things like parking farther away from the store entrance or at work (If its safe to do so or weather permitting).
2. Do one small thing you have been procrastinating from doing and you were putting it off. This makes you feel better giving more energy to wanting to do it again and again to feel this satisfaction.
3. On your time off give yourself 1 extra hour to provide yourself with prepping easy small snacks for the week.
4. We all get sick when its either super inconvenient, so while your healthy make the commitment to prepare healthy full meals and freeze them for your sick days. Your future self with thank you!
5. I haven’t done yoga for awhile and my yoga mat has been put away. So, the saying goes out of sight and out of mind. I decided to put it in my front seat of my car to remind me it’s time to sign up for classes. Yoga is a wonderfully healthy for you so, either complete it at home or sign up for an in person class. You will be very happy after class.
6. Get your physicals scheduled for the new year.
7. Declutter is amazingly helpful to encourage your goals with less distractions from objects around you distracting or taking away more of your time of exercise.
8. Take a time out from social media. We all know its not healthy for you and should be done only at a bare minimum each week.
9. Wednesday or Sunday are great days to remind yourself to prayer or meditate. You don’t have to do much even 10 minutes can do wonders on your stress levels to reduce cortisol. You can promise yourself 20 minutes a week, it’s really not a lot but gives a powerful healthy boost.
10. It’s writing time! Get a notebook of any kind or buy a cheap journal at a craft store and start writing of your goals, concerns and other life lessons. It’s a fabulous tool to review and become creative to future goals and dreams.
These 10 steps are very attainable by the end of the year. I’m so excited for you and these small but, powerful steps to hopefully achieve your goals to be happier and happier better version of yourself. We owe ourselves at a minimum this level of self care!
