3 Cheap Healing Fall Herbs!

Fall time is on its way! The pumpkin spice and all that is nice is having it’s effects on everyone from Coffee shops already running out of their pumpkin spice latte’s and cold brews. The herbalist like myself and you are getting ready for the fall weather and looking for ways to save during the cold & flu seasons. There are many herbs that God has provided us on the Earth, which I am truly blessed! 

The high costs of inflation having on our communities and loved ones. I am looking for the cheapest herbs with a great healing punch for the immune system! The three I found were some common and familiar herbs. If you can grow them next to a window in the southern skies that would be profound for your herb collection. How easy is it to clip a small amount of the herb you need in your home for an instant and highly healthier version for herbal tea.

The 3 cheap healthy fall herbs are as follows: 
  1. Echinacea
  2. Garlic 
  3. Turmeric
 Everyone should be able to get these herbs at their local store or at the very least order the seeds to grow at home. 
 Some basic information on each one is below. 
 
Echinacea grows great in the sun light and in general easy for first time herbalist to grow at home. It should only be used like everything else in this world short-term not long term. Studies show it helps with respiratory infections, healing pain, reduction of inflammation, antiviral, antioxidant & so much more!  
 
Garlic is the next one on the list. I hope everyone is familiar with this herb. I use it every week in my meals. Besides being cheap it last along time in the kitchen or cellar. It is been used to be antibacterial, anticancer, antiviral, prevention is key for the use of garlic! It was used in previous years to treat tuberculosis, colic, liver disease, intestinal worms, reduction of fevers. Of course always check with your doctor first!   
 

Turmeric is a common herb in most everyone’s spice rack in the last 10 years especially. It wasn’t very common years prior in the western societies. I use it in my soups and the meals from India recipes. This has become my favorite new seasoning. It comes from the ginger family. It is been used to be antibacterial, anticancer, antiviral, prevention is key for the use this herb too! Other areas used for digestive problems, skin issues and respiratory problems. The most common use for this herb around the world is it’s supposed to help arthritis and for skin health.
