The buck full moon event is just about here on Sunday July 21st, 2024. The time of full illumination depends on where you live, but it will be 6:17 am Eastern Standard Time. If your lucky enough to have clear skies you will want to look Southeast after sunset. Every culture around the world has their interpretation of the meaning to them. Here in the United States of America it relates to the male deer called bucks antlers are full grown this time of year. The summer is the peak timeframe. The velvet sheds and antlers harden after usually growing the new set of antlers in the spring, thus fall off in the winter time. The fall is the mating season so after the buck full moon hardens them for this time period.
The other meaning is that we transforming into a stronger person from the year and continuing taking care of ourselves. During this time of the buck moon its a great time to reflect. Did you accomplish all your goals? Is there new ideas you want to finish up? If you live in the country, how’s your fire wood stack looking is it high enough? Keep working on your goals and finish up with any summer fun that you didn’t check of the summer bucket list. There is only about a month or so of summer if you are in the Northern Hemisphere. I feel blessed its not winter right now with zero below temps and ice roads. However, the snow can be beautiful especially on the spruce trees and behind the Christmas lights! Please take care of yourself! God Bless!
